The past few weeks have been busy in the Husky Discovery Lab! Makers have been busy building their own versions of teepees and wigwams that could house a small Indian figure (clothespin-size), have a functioning door, as well as use a natural element in the design. The kids were so creative and inventive with the materials they were given and we hope you enjoy taking a look at the festive structures they created! Mrs. Stuart's 3rd grade class helped build this kid-sized wigwam (or wetu) made of pipe insulation, bamboo sticks, and plastic tablecloths, complete with a firepit and bow and arrow!
